Who we are

TaxStone Ltd ("TaxStone", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through https://taxstone.us. Our registered office is 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom.

Information you provide to us

When you submit an enquiry through this website, using the quick enquiry card or the full enquiry form, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, and the situation that best describes you, and, where you choose to provide it, your phone number, country, and message.

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and, if you go on to engage us, to provide our services. A hidden field on our forms is used solely to detect and block automated spam submissions; it does not collect information about you.

How we use enquiry information

Enquiry details are sent by email directly to our team at hello@taxstone.us. We do not store enquiry submissions in a separate marketing database, and we do not use the contact form to send you marketing emails.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small first-party cookie to remember your cookie consent choice for up to one year, and, if you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 cookies as described below. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are viewed, so that we can improve it.

Google Analytics only runs, and only sets cookies on your device, once you have given consent through the cookie banner. If you reject analytics, or have not yet responded to the banner, Google Analytics operates in a consent-denied mode and does not set analytics cookies or store identifiable information about your visit. We do not send your name, email address, or the contents of your enquiry to Google Analytics.

Server and hosting logs

This website is hosted on Vercel. Like virtually all web hosts, Vercel automatically records limited technical information about visits, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security, abuse-prevention, and performance purposes. This information is processed by our hosting provider on our behalf and is not used by TaxStone to identify individual visitors.

International transfers

Some service providers referred to in this policy, including Google and Vercel, may process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where this occurs, it is carried out by that provider under its own applicable data-transfer safeguards.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry emails for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, and, where you become a client, in line with our professional and regulatory record-keeping obligations. Cookie consent choices are stored in your browser for up to one year, after which we will ask you again.

Your rights

Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@taxstone.us.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have not handled your information properly.
